Anna Maria Rossetti is an independent midwife, Director of the post graduate School of Midwifery Art SEAO and its Publishing House in Florence, Italy.
International speaker, Spinning Babies Approved Trainer and author.
Anna Maria works internationally offering lectures and workshops on the theoretical and practical aspects of PsychoNeuroEndocrineImmunology (PNEI) applied to pregnancy and childbirth. Anna Maria is a Midwife since 2004, has a Master Degree in Posturology and Manual Therapies gained at the University Alma Mater Studiorum,Bologna (IT). She also attended the two years education program in Salutophysiology and Continuity of Care with Verena Schmid and the one-year education in Psychophonetic Training with Elisa Benassi.
Anna Maria teaches in Universities and in private sectors all over the World with a special
attention to the autonomous nervous system in difficult labors and births. She has developed her skills working in hospitals, in homebirth settings and as a missionary in war territories in rural Afghanistan.
She is experienced in treating vaginal, perineal, and abdominal childbirth related scars, both under the physical and symbolic, emotional aspects.
She has co-authored books targeting Universities about PNEI in pregnancy and childbirth and in 2023 she founded ARCHIMETRA, The International Journal of Salutophysiology in Midwifery, which she directs. In 2024 she was awarded with the recognition of “Person making a difference in the birth world” by International Previda Foundation.
Her goal is to help bring peace back on birth, putting together midwives, doctors, doulas, with new knowledge about physiology and giving strength and recognition to women’s/parents/queer parents knowledge about their sexual passages and healing power.
